What houses have a lot of girls that dress up for class/daytime? Like don't wear lululemons and big shirts every day? Gotta say, my house doesn't dress too stylish before 8 on a Thursday.

both of yall keep doing you. if i felt like getting up earlier and really trying to look nice i totally would. i admire all the ladies on campus who really make an effort to present themselves well... it reflects very well on you and your organization. but yall in the norts and ts... you're good too.

the silly thing is that i see girls in norts who wear full on make up and straightens their hair in a perfect pony. It only takes me 30 min to get ready when i wear a blouse and high waisted pants and brush my hair and put on a little powder. outfits arent that hard to put together

I would say Chi O because I think there's a lot of hipster types. Also I think Pi Phi and ADPi.

there's a Chi O in one of my classes (it's a 2:00pm) who always looks like a slob, in my opinion there's no excuse for that after 10am. I've never seen a Chi O look nice to go to class personally.

There are girls in every house that look presentable for class and girls who look like they just rolled out of bed. It's a matter of pride, really. I tend to dress up, but that's because I don't want the instructors who might just give me a reference for a job to think of me as a slob.

I do my hair and makeup for class so that I look presentable, and I would never wear a sloppy hoodie and sweatpants, but I do wear more comfortable clothes to class (think leggings/norts and a more fitting tank top or t-shirt). I'm there to learn - it's not a fashion show. And time that I spend trying to look extremely cute for class is time that I could spend studying or doing homework. Plus, if I have several classes in a row I want to be comfortable. I don't want something that's riding up or is tight or uncomfortable in any way to distract me from paying attention in class. I wouldn't call that being a "slob". If you go to class without brushing your hair, putting on any makeup, or in pajamas/an XL hoodie (on a small/medium sized girl) and sweatpants - then that's a slob.

Haven't you noticed that the girls who look like slobs in their leggings and oversized shirts are generally the same ones who gained more than the Freshman 15? It's more like the Freshman 40. Beer will do that to you.

Just because I wear leggings and a t-shirt to a night class doesn't mean I'm dressing like a slob for a job interview. Jesus Christ.

By: Wow.

I thought Jesus Christ already had a job. Of course, his dad got it for him so maybe it doesn't count. Wonder if he wears sandals at work?

Doesn't matter what Jesus was wearing when he was saving souls but low-key, he was in a robe and man sandals. So GDI of him.

I like it when women dress like slobs for class. It means that with just 3 minutes of effort I can look SOOOOOOOO much better.

By: terrific
by: 3 min?

It takes me three minutes to fill in my eyebrows correctly. It takes three minutes to warm up my shower. It takes me three minutes to roll myself out of bed. It takes me three minutes to pick the right shoes for my outfit.

I dress up for class every day as well but honey, you're lying if you're claiming it only takes you three extra minutes a day to look good.

I takes me 10 seconds per eyebrow, and about 45 seconds for some eyeliner, BB cream, bronzer and lip gloss. I shower the night before, and also set out my clothes (or at least decide what to wear). I wear my hair up, but not messy. The shoes? It takes me all of 10 seconds to decide. Choosing a scarf takes a bit longer. But not much. How in the world can it take 3 minutes to choose shoes. I call BS! The thing is, with the slobs on this campus literally three minutes of effort can really set you apart.

LOL this is hilarious.... Because it's the dumbest conversation ever. Who the hell cares about what you wear to class. If you dress like a slob for class, it doesn't mean you don't care or won't ever be presentable, it simple means you didn't dress nice for class. Get over yourselves

By: OMG.....
by: funny

You just keep thinking that. People judge people all the time according to what they wear. And if you aren't making any effort to look presentable, we're judging you and are assuming you don't care. Or at least that's what it looks like.

Yeah, I dress up. Or at least look presentable. so do many of my sisters. We just decided we didn't want to be a walking cliché.

by: really??

Judgmental much? Perhaps some people have so many obligations and it is a 30min walk to class-sleep is a precious commodity! Get a life and use your time for a true issue....

Wow. If you can't get your act together now, imagine how difficult it will be to dress presentably when you have an actual job, a commute and a boss who thinks one of your many obligations should be to look professional. Yeah, college sure is overwhelming.
