sorrority or not

by:

Does anyone else feel like me. I feel like a sh--. I am exhausted. All the girls I met seemed to know exactly which house they'd be in, some said they had friends pulling for them or they were a legacy.
I am first generation at trying this. Anyone else feel like this.

Go to bid day tomorrow and enjoy the fruits of your labor. Bid day is one of the most fun days of being greek! I wasn't sure about my house when I went and bid day made me fall in love. Don't go the whole week and quit the night before the biggest day of the week!

Those girls DO NOT KNOW which house they will be in. Many women are first generation they may just not talk about it. Focus on is meeting your new sisters and pledge sisters on BID DAY. Some of them could become your best friends! They did for me

I hate that some girls make it through this grueling week and may face rejection tomorrow. What a way to start college--feeling like you want to go home where people thought you were fine and you felt good about yourself. Recruitment is such a rotten way to start college. Too bad it couldn't happen right before spring semester after girls have a better idea about each house and have proven themselves on equal ground with grades.

I agree, it is a horrible way to begin the most exciting time of your life. And if you don't know anyone going through this week that may not work out for you, your screwed. If it was done in the spring at least one would have many friends by then to support them. Not that great of a system, many colleges rush in spring!
