sad day
by: HelpI was cut from my favorite houses gamma phi, kappa kappa gamma and chi omega after the first day. Honestly thought my conversations In all three went great. I still have some that I am interested in like tri delta, adpi and DG but I'm honestly not feeling confident with any of these now either after skits. I didn't think I would get cut from the first three but I was so my hopes aren't high for these three either. I have a few other houses too but I really don't see myself in any of them. Honestly if I'm cut from these houses I will likely drop and if I do would it be possible to get a bid in the spring to a house I like? Or do I have to wait a year like some people are telling me?

Whatever you do. Don't drop. There are around 2000 women in recruitment and if u just let the magic do it's work 100 girls will be cut and u will all have great pledge classes. Plus, once in a house you mainly spend time with YOUR pledge class.. So look at the girls on the sidewalk next to you instead of the house in front of you. It's always better to be Greek. Almost anyone I knew who wanted to spring rush didn't..

She is exactly right! The girls you will be spending time with are all around you. Remember during rush, you don't really get to know anyone well at the houses at all. Love the houses that WANT YOU! Don't dwell on those that don't. You will enjoy being greek, trust me. It's what YOu make of it, not what they make you!
