The thing is, the more popular a house is the less people they are allowed to invite back. I'm not sure why this is but it's true. The other thing is that you likely haven't spoken to every single girl going through rush. Just because many girls in your group didn't get tri delta back doesn't mean all the girls in another didn't. There are a lot of girls to sort through and the best houses especially have to cut nearly half the girls the first day. Tri delta along with pi phi, gamma phi, chi o, kappa and adpi seem to have the best returns so far. So if you were asked back to these houses consider yourself very lucky. If you continue to return, you're very lucky.

Gphi doesn't have as high of a total house number, they lose a lot of girls during the year, which is why they have more spots to fill and hence bigger parties.

Pha does not want large numbers of girls to be asked back to these houses then ultimately get cut. Basically they force some houses to bring back less and be more exclusive so they aren't leading girls on that won't ultimately get a bid. It's for your benefit
