3.0. Anything lower, you should hope to have a good reason, or a fantastic resume (involvement, recs, legacy).

With a 3.0 is there still a good chance to get a bid

Recruitment is competitive. As many have said before, wonderful girls will slip through the cracks. Hopefully your resume will stand out with involvement and service, and that you will let your personality shine at it's best during rush week. Yes, you may be beautiful and put-together, but there are girls who may be at the same standard you are, but with a higher GPA. Be yourself and trust the system, don't drop out if your chances seem slim, and you will find your place at Mizzou.

I'd say a 2.7 is the absolute lowest that any house MIGHT consider you for.

It's all about what you bring and how you can contribute to a house. High school is pretty easy, relatively speaking. I know women of average intelligence who didn't do very well on their ACTs (25s or 26s), who had jobs during high school and who were very busy with activities/sports, and still they had 3.4s and 3.5s in high school. If you had lower than a 3.0 or 3.1, it means you are either not smart at all or that you didn't try very hard. And if you didn't try very hard, you aren't the kind of girl most sororities want. If you tried very hard and didn't do well, you probably should be focusing on studying and staying in school, not on sorority activities.

26 isn't a good score lol.... You must've gone to some really mediocre high school because a 26 at my school was considered the average . That type of score will only get you into mediocre state schools such as mizzou (which is usau everyone's fall back school anyways).

That's what we all need: a shinning resume. And, news flash, a 26 is NOT a great ACT score.

Your act scores sole purpose is to get you into college and if you are lucky, get you scholarship money. How are you going to say it's not a great score if you can almost get into any college you want AND get scolarship money. Not nessarly an ivy school but any selective school, with a 26 you're in and you'd probably get scholarship money as well. Nationally and satisitcly a 26 is way above the average act score so to say it's not so good is just stupid. A not so good score would be a 21-23, a score that would severely limit your college opportunities. Either way, clearly you're superb act score didn't do much more then anyone else's at this school considering we all ended up at the same place.

I think your inability to communicate coherently proves that you don't know what you're talking about.

A 26 is NOT a great ACT score. Please stop. I would say that 28/29 qualifies as great. Being above the national average doesn't make it great when you have tons of idiots taking the ACT every year who probably get 12s and bring the average down.

What is this b.s. about all winding in the same place? College is a means to an end. We haven't wound up anywhere until we see where our degree will take us. Unless college s a dead-end for you (and it might just be).

I want to agree with some of you about the ACT score thing but your spelling is just horrendous. I guess ACT score really doesn't determine intelligence after all...

Will sororities look at my ACT score?

By: so...

26 is NOT a good score. I concur. Most of the better public and private schools have averages higher than 26. And if you're not from one of those schools, Mizzou will not be a cakewalk for you. Sorry.
