tattoos: covered up or not?
by: michiganI have a small tattoo (1 inch x 1 inch) on my inner forearm, just below the crook of my elbow. It isn't vulgar or suggestive and holds very deep meaning for me and my culture. Should I cover it up with make up like I normally do for job interviews and church, or leave it as it is as a conversation topic during sorority recruitment?

i really really dont think it matters unless you want to end up in a house who will judge you. if it were my i might not even notice if its that small. it is august, do you really expect the girl to wear a sweater? it would be even weird i think if you had to cover it with make up and it partly came off. i dont have a tattoo- i'll never get one. but i have friends who do and think they are pretty damn awesome so lets not judge here folks

You're right. I don't want my tattoo to define me because it doesn't. I think I can bring a lot to a chapter with my high school involvement, hobbies, and personality and don't want my tattoo to distract from that during recruitment.

"A house that will judge you"??? Isn't that what rush is all about? Judging? And if someone doesn't want to be judged, rush isn't the place for her.
