rush without recs
by: undecided?so I decided very late in the summer that I wanted to go greek and I didn't have the time to get all the packets and stuff to an alum from every house to write me a rec. what are the honest chances of me getting a bid without the recommendations? after thinking about it more, I really do want to join a sorority this year and I'm scared I won't be wanted due to my lack of preparation

further explanation: I was out of the country. I was able to get internet to sign up but wasn't back in time to make folders and go around and pass them out to alum, sorry if it seems like I don't care, but I literally did not have time beciase I wasn't even on this continent.

recs depend on the house. Many will take you without one, but it's doubtful that you can get into selective houses like Theta, ChiO, PiPhi unless you have one (or two). Sorry, but that's how it goes. The good news is that there are lots of other houses that may be interested.

Not true. I'm a pi phi and I never found someone to write me a rec for that house so I just winged it. Turns out I actually got cut from all the houses I did have recs for after sisterhood day.
