What do you mean they call back 600? Pha gives each house the exact number they ask back each day, and chi o did not bring back 600 today.

I heard the same thing but they shouldn't get in trouble when Chi O always does the same thing and nothing happens.

It's not promise bidding if a house makes you feel wanted but then does not accept you back. During rush week, this happened to me at G Phi and Kappa (no, I am not a member of either of these chapters). Girls had awesome conversatoins with me, and I felt like I wanted to end up at these houses. I was cut the next day. At first, it hurt.
Then, the next year, when I went through on the other side, I heard the words "Make every girl that comes through want to be a part of your chapter". Exactly!! Of course some girls are going to felt strung along, because if I had a bad conversation, I will not be rude to the girl.
So while some houses (Chi O, Kappa, Tri Delt, G Phi) may have bitter rumors of this, it is just this - these houses put on a great rush and try to make every PNM feel special.
