dirty rushing
by: Tiger2Every house in the "top tier" dirty rushes. Why do you think they have such amazing return rates and get the best girls?

Having gone through rush in the past two years and having ChiO, Delta and PiPhi as my final three choices, I can assure you that only one of the three dirty rushes. Among my other choices toward the end were Kappa, ADPi and Theta. Again, of those six I was only dirty rushed by one house. So the theory that all of the top houses dirty rush is not true.

Sorry to sound mean but you weren't dirty rushed because you weren't worth fighting over. You might've been asked back to the top tier all week but you said it yourself, you ended up in the middle tier. Only the amazing PNM's that everyone wants get dirty rushed and you weren't one of them.

Is the premise that the top houses would have lousy return rates if they didn't dirty rush? Nice try. But, first of all, any rushing that goes on is very limited. Second, the top houses that don't dirty rush (and there are several) still have great return rates. Third, when you have an outstanding bunch of girls, all you have to do is look at them and talk with them to realize they are a cut above. Almost everyone would like to think of themselves as top tier material and so they pref those houses because they want to go back. In most cases, dirty rushing has nothing to do with it.
