pnm's

Rush is a crazy week filled with stress on BOTH sides. It's difficult for the sororities to get to know almost 2000 girls and wonderful women slip through the cracks by thinking they want one house and dropping when it doesn't work out. I advise all PNM's to complete rush with an OPEN MIND to all houses! They all have something amazing to offer their members. You want a house that WANTS YOU! Give it a chance and remember that YOU have something to offer them too: Yourself! Dress carefully. Present the best possible YOU! Don't discuss partying, or boys. Do talk about what you can offer- do you dance, sing, know another language, musical interests? Ask relevant questions to your rusher: What do you love about your house? I know it's hard, but give them a good reason to remember you and most importantly SMILE and be happy to be there. This site is mostly silly so don't believe what you read. Greek life is a blast and you'll have a wonderful experience no matter what. And, if you discover Greek Life isn't for you, that's ok too. Life at MIZZOU is what you make it. Good luck!

Great advice! Only YOU know where you feel comfortable & which house is a good fit . Don't worry about stereotypes & tiers. They seriously mean NOTHING. All of the houses at Mizzou have a lot to offer & are full of amazing girls. Just be yourself, be open-minded, and enjoy the ride!
