How much does it matter if you don't know anyone when going through rush?

Doesn't matter at all, especially if you are from out of state. I didn't know a soul and sailed through, getting my first choice. Not knowing anyone means no one is working against you behind the scenes. But you have to look good on paper because no one is rooting for you, either.
