pi chi groups

Are the pi chi groups made based on last name or where we live? or is completely random?

I'm almost 100% certain it's based on where you're living on campus. They usually do it that way so you can meet girls in your building and stuff.

PHA changed it a couple years ago. Now the groups are completely random.
