cob
by: ...If you decide to cob instead of going through formal recruitment, how do you get on the radar of those sororities who are cobbing?

If you get to know girls that are in houses that are COBing in the spring then they can help to put in a good word for you and introduce you to some of their sisters! Houses that COB also do rush events that are much more relaxed than formal recruitment! These might include an open house, a luncheon, etc. Hope this helps!

#6by: Here's the thing
COBing is shrouded in mystery. Some houses do it, some don't. You can be interested and contact their rush person, but that person isn't required to get back to you. Before you even hear whether they have had a party, suddenly their quota has been filled. Until Panhell comes up with a system to make COBing fair, I would stay far, far away and just go through regular rush. Besides, how do we know houses that COB aren't somehow discriminating? It really is inherently unfair. DON'T DO IT.
