need advice

I'm transfering here from University of Wisconsin and am already an active member of my fraternity. However, I've heard from some people that my fraternity is not very good at all here as opposed to my former one. I'd like to join and still be greek, but I'm not sure it would be worth it. Can anyone give me some advice?
