by: ummI'm not for or against Aphi.. I think theyre just an average house, nothing bad nothing great. BUT -- i think it's downright desperate when they've paid to have their facebook featured as a sponsored page.. Trying wayyyyy too hard, a little embarassing IMO.

They are ALL over this site like nobody's business!! They must think PMNs & their family members are stupid or don't talk. Anyone with an older sister, Aunt, neighbor, nanny, etc who was Greek at Mizzou will tell them how Alpha Phi Nationals came in to close the chapter not that long ago!!

What "hot pledge class" is the earlier comment referring to??? They always get a few pretty girls . . . . after the PMNS get cut by their top choices. I've yet to see a girl on 7 party day wanting to pledge APhi unless she's alteady been cut by the 8-9 better houses.

There's no such thing as bad press and I have to admit they are the most talked about house. I find this fascinating.

100% accurate, you think by talking about them you're going bring them down? Not even close and they have the PC to prove it. This site is irrelevant and the more you talk about them, the more hype you give them...

Yes I was just pointing out the fact that nothing has changed. Aphi are still a bunch of desperate wanna bes who obsessive over Greek rank and resort to pathetic measures to get their name out there.

If you have friends at other universities where A Phi has a chapter you can ask them but everywhere I know of A Phi is considered as being a self promoting house. They also are known for going for looks over character or academics then bragging that they got the best house. I also don't have anything against them, just something I thought I'd pass along.

Why does it even bother you? How does a sorority taking pride in their looks affect you or your sorority in any way? I'm jw, I'm in a house that's completely opposite of alpha phi but I couldn't care less, having such a great range of different houses is an asset to our Greek system, not a downfall.
