What happens if you are a legacy to a house but are just below their grade cut? Will they automatically cut you or give you a chance because you're a legacy?

They will give you the benefit of the doubt and consider you anyway. Unless they have a concrete reason for cutting you.

Most houses will consider you if you barely miss the grade cut off. A lot of houses take "grade risks" and are more likely to take a legacy under those circumstances.
