worried
by: PnmHi, I have a 3.2 (could translate to a 3.3) but I feel I have a pretty good resume with tons of Recs and I know a few girls in some houses. will my gpa severely limit me in rush or even prevent a bid all together?

The thing is, sororities want to take girls who will be an asset to their house. Someone with a 3.2 probably either struggled in high school or didn't care about doing well. Either way, there's not a history of doing well academically and you would be considered a grade risk. You probably won't be asked back at houses with strict grade cuts (Theta, PiPhi, ADPi, etc.), but if you have something else to offer other houses may be interested. All you can do is try.
