I think there is no order of tiers. There's no top house. There are 4 interchangeable houses on the exact same level of each other that run mizzou: chi o, tri delt, kappa, pi phi. It's just impossible to put them in an order since they all pretty much pack the whole package aside from minor quirks one has that the others don't.

Then I think DG gphi theta and adpi are runners up (or runner ups? Idk correct me) to the top tier. Almost there but not quite. Theta is runner up because they are just seriously lacking in popularity among other sororities and frats. Yes they're smart, yes they recruit well, yes they win things, but none of that matters if nobody likes you because all you do is talk about how great you think you are. Be humble.

Then Aphi and axo in a tier of their own because I wouldn't peg them with the runner ups but I wouldn't peg them with the blah, whatever-I-just-wanted-to-be-Greek houses. Aphi is the house for the pretty girls who weren't bold enough for gphi and axo for the girls who weren't quite intense enough for adpi.

Zeta also in a tier of their own. The absolute last resort before some girls decide not to go Greek. (Of course this is just a generalization. I realize many girls may pref this house or others "beneath" the top tier first since day one.)

KD, tri sig, sigma kappa and phi mu are just the "I just wanted to be apart of something for sisterhood and to get involved in Greek life" houses. And I don't find anything wrong with that.

Too: basically top in what they are good at;
ChiO: involvement/ grades
Theta: grades/ involvement/ homecoming
delta: looks/ decent grades too
Kappa: greek week: involvement

Top Middle: good house, great girls, but usually come in second fiddle:
PiPhi: only considered top on greek rank
ADPi: smart, involved but not as much as ChiO and theta
gphi: pretty,but lacking in grades and involvement
DG: basically another gphi, but have strong nationals

Bottom middle: these houses never preffed first but still good houses
AXO: good grades, involved but lacks high quality
Alpha Phi: get those girls that wanted to be a gphi
KD: involvement, and nice but girls not very cute.
Zeta: last chance to be in a greek house without settling for new houses

bottom: hard to tell difference between these. All new and all are trying to recruit good girls. Usually can't cut until later in week.

DG belongs in the bottom tier or lowest middle tier until it gets it act together. It's trying, but has a long way to go. Kappa is at the bottom of the top tier, behind Delta, ChiO, PiPhi and Theta -- or at the top of the middle tier with ADPi and GPhi. If Kappas weren't on this site all of the time pleading their case NO ONE would think they are top tier. As for PiPhi, they 1) have the most beautiful house on campus 2) get their pick of who they want (statistics show some 90% of their pledge class is made up of girls PiPhi ranked the highest, proving the women who join REALLY want to be there, plus they have the second highest return rate during rush with only Delta ahead of them 3) they rush, and get, outstanding girls who are smart and pretty 4) they are true individualists and, sorry, the quality of a sisterhood is not about some cheesy competition, but rather the quality of the girls and the sisterhood. As for my house, Theta, we, too are very confident in who we are and rush a very specific type of girl. And we get her. It matters not at all to us where we are ranked among the tiers because we know we are a strong, selective house. One more thing: ADPi also is a strong house with high standards and only on this website does it matter that some freshman caused them to be kicked out of recent competition. That's like saying an entire house is full of ho's because one girl embarrassed herself at a fraternity. Let's not paint with too broad a brush. We're smarter than that.

I'm really having a hard time figuring out why people are ranking Gphi so high. Yes they are fun, outgoing, and pretty... But what else do they have to offer?? In my opinion there are more well rounded houses that should be ranked higher. Aphi, axo, and DG are all better houses than Gphi if you weigh all characteristics, not just looks. Aphi is pretty, fun, popular and involved. Axo is smart, involved, and has there fair share of pretty/parties too. And DG, despite the hiccups over the last few years, still recruits pretty girls, are social, and have better grades than Gphi. I'm sorry I just don't see Gphi as top of mid tier. They should be ranked last in mid tier in my opinion.

It's time for GPhi to get off this site. When Kappa goes crazy with the self-promotion we call them on it. And now GPhi is doing the same thing. The last thing you want to be are psycho greekrank trollers, so cut it out.

Every one seems pretty set on at least who is absolute top and bottom. So this is how I would rank the middle, with some explanations.

Pi Phi: Almost top tier, but just not quite spectacular enough in any area to break in. Moderate to good in almost every area though and a wonderful sorority.
ADPi: Similar boat as Pi Phi that they are close to top, but a different kind of girl than Pi Phi. Greek Week incident doesn't move them down, it could happen to any group and ADPi is still very competitive. Pi Phi does edge them out this year though, partly because of GW, and because Pi Phi is typically more fun.
G Phi/DG: This one is the controversial probably, but I honestly see both groups as the middle of the middle. They are both fun party groups that frats typically like. G Phi is hotter, but DG is a bit more involved with better grades. G Phi could be above DG, but they are so similar, and DG actually had a decent year and since they both have what the other needs (G Phi is still recruiting hotter girls, DG has the better grades/involvement), that they seem equal.
AXO: This house could be above G Phi and DG with a PC or two of cuter girls and an increase in social life. They are underrated and have great grades and are competitive. But this is college, and your social life matters, and to me that keeps AXO towards the bottom of middle tier.
