kd - so are they mid tier or bottom tier?

I'd say bottom at this point. When I rushed they were considered interchangeable with AXO but in the last two years they've fallen flat. Their girls aren't cute which, although superficial, is important. Their grades are no better than our other bottom tier houses, they don't place as well as they used to and with other houses like Alpha Phi, AXO and even SK and Phi Mu all stepping up their competition and recruiting, KD doesn't deserve to be middle tier anymore.

However, KD has some of the nicest girls on this campus and their philanthropy week is one of our most popular. So while they may no longer be middle tier, I still think they are a very good house to join if you're going Greek for more philanthropy and sisterhood than you are parties and boys.

The biggest battle in this recruitment will be between Phi Mu/SK/KD and Zeta.

SK and Phi Mu have been stepping it up and it shows. While neither of them have done anything that the top tier might notice, as a girl in a lower middle tier house, I can say I've seen the differences. My roommate is an SK and they cleaned house this last semester. They suspended a lot of their grade risks but the reason their grades still sucked was because grade risk girls still count towards the house GPA so I wouldn't be surprised if their grades jump drastically this next semester.

Both SK and Phi Mu have been recruiting more selectively and carefully, as well as getting cuter girls than people give them credit for. You have to remember the bottom tier is recruiting against each other, so while a top tier girl may not notice, the rest of the bottom tier does. Every cute girl in Phi Mu letters is a cute girl stolen from a house like Zeta, that used to get all the cute bottom tier girls.

KD is slipping

Phi Mu and SK are fighting to be better than each other.

Depending on how this recruitment goes, our bottom tier could include KD and Zeta could be lower middle . SK could trounce Phi Mu, Phi Mu could destroy Zeta and replace them. The bottom tier is in such turmoil right now.

There won't be any changes to the top tier, or the upper middle tier. But the bottom tier and lower middle tier are on unstable ground right now because so many houses are stepping up their game
