tattoos & formal recruitment
by: macI will be a freshman this fall, and have recently started a large tattoo on my arm. Does the Greek system have anything for or against tattoos? I have a moderately high GPA, recommendation letters, and experience in volunteer work, but will my tattoos prevent me from getting a bid?

Sorry. Not a KD, I'm an A Phi. So what it I stuck up for another sorority? They've never done anything to me, and are generally pretty harmless. I am, however, majoring in education, and I was subtly trying to correct your grammar with my post - thus the all caps, "THEY'RE". You missed it. I'm not surprised. (Although I did misspell "Chi O". My apologies to those girls. )

Don't know why you felt the urge to disparage KD?? since THEY'RE nice, accepting girls. W/E. Since you think THEY'RE currently mid-tier, what gives? Speaking of tiers, I know Cho-O's, AXO's, A Phi's and G Phi's who have tattoos. It's not a "tier" problem. The girls I know have small tattoos, but they have them. I'm not sure a big tat is going to help the poster anywhere now, but I say, show it. That's why she got it, right?
