Our amazingly superior Duke wannabe has nothing better to do with her time than troll the school where she likely will wind up. That's poor form, hon. Everyone knows the most important school is the last one you attend. Mizzou will do an excellent job of preparing you for the MCATs, GREs, LSATs etc. So if you are as smart as you seem to think you are, you will save your money for the next school. Also, if Duke really wanted you they would have given you enough money to attend. That's how it works with top students.

I agree with everything you said, except the last one. You seriously don't know people who chose schools where they got more scholarships? I received 90% financial aid at some schools, and I STILL can't afford them. Talk for yourself. If you are just around people who can afford to take out loans and not worry about your parents' health and other family circumstances, that's fine. But these people exist and are clearly going to keep being marginalized by economically well-off people. There is a student I know who got into Northwestern, a peer school of Duke, who now attends Bama on a full ride. **** happens.

I think you confused hot with bottom. Gphi and Tridelt had to fall COB's with SK and PhiMu. No one else did. DG hasn't been hot in years and has a ton of drops. No one likes APhi anymore and they can't keep members either. And Kappa is just weird and is mid at best.

Family circumstances and section 8 housing have a way of screwing over your dreams. Look up QuestBridge, which still couldn't pay all of my tuition which I NEED.
