You can expect to attend lots of parties and meet lots of girls. As for your odds of getting into a decent house, you will have to work a bit on your specifics. If you are a sophomore with a 3.9 from an outstanding school, I would say you will land on your feet and perhaps wind up in the house to which you are a legacy (unless it is one of those houses that doesn't really give special consideration to legacies because there are so many of them). If you are a junior with a 3.01, well, best of luck to you.

Just don't mention you're a legacy to another house if you're in a different house. So if you're in my house, Sigma Kappa, then don't mention if you're a Sigma legacy or something. It'll make us think you'd rather go Sigma and then it might affect your score.

Don't lie about it if you're asked though. If it comes up you can always say something like, "Yeah, my mom had a really great time being Greek here and I can't wait to make some of my own memories wherever I end up."

That way you acknowledge your legacy status but make it clear you're choosing your own path.

We know if you're a legacy, we will have your information on your score card and trust me, the girl you're talking to will also know you're a legacy. So don't sweat it! Use your time in our house to try and get to know us and let us get to know you.
