by: hiNext semester I'm transferring to Mizzou. I really want to rush but I'm afraid my GPA is too low. It's a 2.7. Should I rush or should I COB spring semester?

Where did you earn this 2.7 GPA? A university like Vanderbilt, or like Harvard? Or is it from (sorry, Ole Miss people!)someplace like Ole Miss? If you're transferring from a really, seriously top 10 academic university, (Ivy league, etc.) then maybe you could squeak in a bottom tier, MAYBE. But if you're coming from a community college, then NO, don't bother. Even if it's another public university on par with Mizzou (for example, University of Alabama, or Miami of Ohio) then, sorry. Don't bother.

Except that it is much easier to get good grades at a private institution than a public one. Have you EVER known anyone to flunk out of Harvard, Princeton, Yale? The hardest part is getting in: they don't even give C's. But at a public school you have to earn you grades so, yea, the above point is irrelevant.
