do fraternities care for grades during recruitment
by: my gradesMy grades are fine and all but I'm wondering if they'll play any role during formal recruitment. Or is it more like you get a bid if they like you, then all the pledges are expected to reach their grade standard?

Grades play a role in your Formal Recruitment experience. If you do not meet the academic standard of Fraternities you are rushing, 99 percent of the time you will not get a bid or even a Continue to Rush invitation from them. If you meet the academic standards then you should be just fine.
I would say you have to meet the academic standard and then maintain the academic standard from the time you sign your bid, to the time you are pinned to initiation.
