why do mizzou kappas throw up a fleur de lis?

other school's kappas seem to throw up that K thing, but kappas here do a fleur de lis. just wondering why?

had the same question for aphi -- at mizzou they do the "hand to hand" thing when at other schools they do an "a" with their hand and then do one finger over their mouth ?? maybe its a mizzou thing

I've seen some Kappas here to the 'KKG' thing too and when I rushed and we were are learning the hand signs to pass time in-between parties, that's the one I learned. I guess it's just which girls you ask in the house, I've seen them do both

There are multiple hand signs for some houses. I've seen girls do both at many schools. It's not just a mizzou thing

Theta at my old school had a different hand sign besides the kite but they don't do it here. It's just a preference thing I think.

Who could possibly care? I have a special hand signal that I use when I meet one of those Kappas who seems to have a cattle prod up her you-know-what. You know the type. They have the I'm-better-than-you mentality even though their house is nothing special. You could use this special hand signal, too, if you'd like. There's nothing exclusive about it and it involves just one finger....
