spring rush or COB
by: -->does MU do both? what's the difference? does GPA matter for those? I did bad early in HS but brought my grades up by senior year. if I do well this fall are my chances better in spring

There is no difference they are both just COB. There is no 'Spring Rush' that is like organized formal fall recruitment, it's just COB, houses offering some bids on their own. Your chances improve for a chapter's bid with the more girls you know and are friends with in it. Make sorority friends in dorms, in classes, at parties, from campus orgs, etc.

mizzou does both and spring is way more chill than fall rush BUT not all houses participate and you aren’t guaranteed an invite to all of the houses that host spring events. when I went through it I emailed the rec chair for the houses I was interested in and filled out the form on the PHA website. houses will send emails to the girls in the COB system in the spring that they’re interested in to attend a recruitment event they host (some are at restaurants while others are at the house doing a fun activity) and you can decide if you’d like to attend or not. The “difference” between COB and spring rush is that COB goes on between end of fall rush to end of spring semester where you can be offered a bid at any time while spring rush is just the time of year when lots of houses host events for COBs due to girls graduating in december/dropping/early alumn/etc. hope this helps!

There is "spring rush" that is like formal fall recruitment at some schools (they don't do it in the fall), but not Mizzou
