Incoming freshman

If you’re an incoming freshman please get off this site it’s not helping you. Most people on here are lying and don’t actually know anything about rush (ex. what it will look be like this yea, how competitive it is). Rush is the same amount of competitive every year. There will be houses selective on grades and other things but as of right now there is nothing you can do about it. Also realize every one has a different “top” house. Realize that your top is probably different from the person responding to the comments. Realize that there are top houses for looks, grades, involvement and so much more. This site doesn’t help, really just solidifies the stereotypes of house and the stereotypes of girls. You will be able to feel a houses vibe when you’re going through rush, you will feel when a house is right for you. It sounds cheesy but remember this when you find your house and feel it. Good luck to you and don’t let others opinion and false stereotype have a preconceived bias for rush. Rush is genuinely one of the most stressful weeks of your life but, take advantage of it meet friends in your pi chi groups, dorms, waiting in line for rounds, and so many other places.
