Starting to think Sigma is behind all this SK hate. First this place was running rampant with rumors that SK was losing members when really Sigma is the one with membership problems. They beat you in grades again, have more members, get better pairings and they're newer than you. Hide your hate better, sheesh.

I was in SK and over BOTH the fall and spring semester it was around 50. It was at least 20 in fall and 33 in spring. Nice try trying to cover that up.

Because I'm also an SK and our Fall PC was over quota and we only added more girls in the Spring. There was no snap bidding, there was no COB for the Fall and we got about thirty three new members in the Spring and then maybe took one or two more when girls from our original Spring PC dropped because they realized couldn't pay dues.

Now our numbers might be lower in the Fall because we might expel some girls who were on suspension for grades but there's no need to spread lies when the PHA official numbers shows the black and white truth.

Haha you can say what you want but I can say for sure that we DID COB. Do you not remember the icecream event two weeks into the year? I sure do because my friend went. SK is trying to pretend they didn’t COB to cover all the withdrawals, and believe me there were a bunch. COBing so many girls just proves there are retention problems.

Yeah, I do recall the ice cream events we had a few times ONE WEEK, those were our Pref events. And then we made cuts and COB'd thirty three girls. We had about a hundred girls come to those events and then we cut the field in half for the ice cream events and then we cut about twenty more because we didn't need fifty girls.

Honestly the numbers are right there on the PHA website, there's no need to lie.

since sk is new they were allowed to recruit OVER quota in order to meet 'average chapter side"
sk invited girls that they liked during recruitment or were already friends of girls, and added about 10 girls..

they were suspended but not kicked out, so it still calculates with grades. they will be kicked out in the fall if this semester of suspension didnt help bring up the individuals grades.

Doesn't matter, your grades won't improve at all. I'm friends with an SK who got suspended on a technicality last semester and her semester GPA was higher than your overall average. Enjoy being solid bottom tier.

DG used to be a house that consistently got top 5 in grades. This year has been really bad for them. Party house? Yes. Smart girls? Hell no!

Maybe like six years ago. DG fell really hard after 2009 and has been lingering near the bottom of the middle tier for awhile. Don't take this amazing semester away from them. They stayed out of trouble, got a great COB class and actually tried during their competitions. Stop hating.

Zeta is still middle tier. They place enough in stuff and get first pick over the bottom tier. They will be middle tier until Phi Mu can shape up their grades and boost their membership.

We are required by our nationals to recruit women in the spring as well as the fall. So why not bid as many impressive women as we can :)

Zeta has never been middle tier. They're the only ones that think they deserve better when in fact they obviously can't keep any new members from year to year. And Phi mu out rushed them this year, I wouldn't want people knowing that either, so of course they're going to try and convince people otherwise. None of the other middle tier houses had to cob this year, with the exception of Dg but we all know they've been struggling for years. Sorry zeta, truth can bite.

I don't really see the difference bw phi mu and zeta, they're both bottom tier houses fighting to be the best of the worst. Yawn. Hide your claws "ladies"

I see the difference between Zeta and Phi Mu pretty clearly.

Zeta places in competitions more regularly.
Zeta has more members.
Zeta has better grades.

What's not to see?

Phi mu is 100x more well liked, has one of the best sisterhoods on campus, and is classy. Zeta can't claim popularity (they're one of the most, if not most hated) house on campus, they can't claim sisterhood (they apparently can't keep any new members), and it's notorious for acting classless. Not to mention, phi mu got a better looking PC (the best out of the bottom tier) this year. Sorry zeta, you may randomly place sometimes but that doesn't make you involved. Respect is everything on this campus, and you just don't have it.

Being more well liked doesn't make you the better house. If the the tiers were ordered by who was the most well liked then Kappa Delta would be our top house. It doesn't work that way, nice try though Phi Mu.

Poor zeta, trying to grasp on to anything to keep from sliding further and further into bottom tier. Hold on tight girls because your thin rope is about to break! No respect and bad attitudes won't get you very far here.

Phi Mu is being pathetic. I understand you all want to be the top of the bottom tier really badly but it's not going to happen until you actually do something. I don't like Zeta either but they have more going for them than you do. Being nice doesn't make you the best of the worst. Having good grades does, placing in competitions does, retention does.

You can sit there and say, "Zeta only randomly places" but you know what? Randomly placing is better than never placing at all which is what you all do. And you can say "Zeta has bad grades" but yours are still worse. And you can say "Well Zeta has bad retention and sisterhood issues" but you still have less girls.

You keep running your mouths and saying all this stuff but the numbers aren't adding up to back up your lies. If Zeta had sisterhood issues they wouldn't have good retention. The biggest house has 292 girls and Zeta has 280. Not that far off from the biggest house. Phi Mu? You've got 211 girls.

So maybe you should stop your obsession with Zeta and being better than them and fix your own problems before you start a serious shame spiral and end up hovering at exactly 200 members like Sigma is. Alright? Good. Great talk.

And Phi Mu has uglier girls so I don't understand why they think they're better than Zeta.

And if your girls are so nice and you have great sisterhood, why does your retention suck so bad?

Bottom houses aren't more sweet or more noble or more real than top houses. They're bottom because they have issues that need to be fixed.

No one said zetas were very smart. They notoriously have bottom three grades and this one semester is a fluke. Sorry I'm not buying that zeta is any better than a bottom 2 or 3 house. I would rather be a gdi than have to face the drama and idiots in zeta.

That's really funny because Zeta was 9th in grades this semester and hasn't been bottom three in grades since Spring 2012. Whereas Phi Mu has been bottom three in grades for the last Spring 2006, the last available data on the PHA website.
