greek rank ranks vs. real life

Almost. But not quite. (In no order)

First round picks: Theta, chi o, delta, pi phi, kappa
Second round picks: adpi, dg, aphi, axo, gphi, zeta (yes people,
Zeta may be a bottom tier house but they always put on a good rush. The lose girls later in the semester)
Last round picks: kd, sigma, sk, phi mu

Gphi and dg definitely do not belong in the category. I would say the second category, but they aren't really respected either. Girls wouldn't mind being in either of those houses, but they're definitely not up there with our elite houses.

That's Greek ranks problem. DG and gphi do belong up there because they are desired during recruitment and during the year by pnms and frats. I don't think this list was created based strictly on recruitment. I think this is pretty accurate if you know what real Greek life is all about and not some made up world of tiers on a website. The first line are the popular houses.

I don't think the OP is talking about who's most desired during recruitment, I think they're talking about during the year what sororities are most popular. For example theta is a great house and very desired during recruitment but during the year you never hear of them and frats don't really socialize with them. Nothing against theta, I don't even think they care about being that type of house, but the houses OP put in first round are different.

Gphi is pretty successful during rush. They typically get the girls THEY want. Just like theta.

People on this site are really ranking sororities based on how attractive they are to fraternities? That's the measure of a sisterhood to you people? How much a bunch of immature frat boys like to hang our with a house? Really? That's funny, because I measure a sisterhood by how loyal and welcoming its members are, how helpful and supportive, how well-rounded, kind and concerned they are. Yeah, it's nice if guys think you're cool, but it's even better to surround yourself with women who have self-respect, high standards, a sense of humor and the kinds of goals that will make them into fine adult women. This isn't 1962, people. Women stopped judging themselves according to what men think of them a long time ago. Didn't you get the memo?

I don't think that is what the OP is saying. This is based off of recruitment and what pnms think. Sure WE know what gphi, DG, zta and KD are like and where they stack up but the pnms go off of what they see. The list she posted is accurate. Pnms want to join a house that has pretty, relatable girls that are popular amongst fraternities. All they want is acceptance when being thrown into such a large school.

Lets be honest here, recruitment is all a facade. It is a horrible system and too many quality girls fall through the cracks while the trolls get bids. Therefore, pnms are going to judge based off the recruitment how the house is, which isn't necessarily the same as how it would rank on this website.

On what planet does DG recruit the same girls as the top tier? Not this one. DG recruits with the THETA/ADPI/APHI group. The same sort of girls rush Theta and ADPi and APhi and DG rush the same sort of girls. DG is more sought out than the last two categories but they are not on par with the top tier. Nope. Nope. Nope.

the one correction that needs to be made to this post is on DG, they belong in the the second category. DG just doesnt run mizzou like the first category does. Everything else is right. aside from the few girls in DG that are attractive and are friends with members of the first category and are popular with frats, the majority are just not. The older girls are still promising but the past two PCs are just no.
