When I went through rush last year I went to two top tier houses on the last day and one low-mid tier house. I actually liked the low-mid house a lot. I thought I related well to the girls in the house and they seemed both genuine and genuinely interested in me. I could easily have seen myself in that house. But I recalled reading on this site that they were a "psycho" house and that their grades weren't great and that they had a stereotype that I really couldn't identify with. I also really liked the two top tier houses and when it came down to "preffing," I didn't even list the low-mid house. I am extremely happy with my choice and can't wait to move in to the house in fall. I have made wonderful friends and we have a lot in common. Could I have been happy anywhere else? Probably. I'm pretty adaptable. But to say no one ever was influenced by this website is blatantly wrong. And I'm not a dumb PNM, either.

Bu I AM in a house I really love. I just chose not to be in a house that people make fun of. Was my decision dumb? Hardly. I think we all have to admit there is at least an ounce of truth to much of what is found on this site.

Ok well glad you're happy or whatever but odds are the reason you didn't pick that low mid tier house was because of what their actual reputation was in person and not on this website. The thing is, you can find something bad being said about every house and every house getting called psycho on this website. So your decision probably wasn't influenced by this website as much as you claim it was. It was probably influenced based on where that house actually stood in Greek life just because everyone kind of knows that unspoken hierarchy exists. Kappa gets slammed daily on this website for pretty much one thing: posting on here, which is anonymous so we really don't know if an actual kappa is posting at all. So if you ACTUALLY let what people say on this website influence you then yeah you are dumb. Learn the hierarchy of Greek town on your own, don't depend on a website because most of this is false. We all know the most popular houses that all kind of hang out with each other are tri delt, DG, gphi and kappa. If you don't know that, then you spend too much time on this damn website and you need to get a clue. Go socialize and you'll figure out the real tiers.

What t F are you talking about. Unless you know this girl, you can't possibly know that her thought process was anything other than what she says it was. As for who hangs out together, who could possibly care? Yes another example of some od Kappa trying to prove a point that only she cares about. Relly, Kappa. Give it a rest.

Basically all this person said was that she's stupid if she bases her opinion on Greek rank. That's not a good thought process to have at all. So chill out.
