rush 2014

Here's my prediction for Recruitment 2014. Yes I'm 3 months early, but I'm going for it anyway - Which houses will rush stronger, stay the same, and who will suffer:
BETTER- APhi - Trisig - Kappa - AChiO - DG
Alpha Phi - yes, we know their grades are not the best, but they're attactive, friendly, and welcoming. They will get the girls that used to go to Gphi and DG. Aphi is on the rise and will rush very well.
Sigma Sigma Sigma- they really surprised everyone this year having one of the better pledge classes. It appears they have gotten the hang of things and it will show. As another poster said, the 2013 pledge class will be recruiting in 2014 - they will rush well.
Kappa Kappa Gamma- Another really good pledge class with lots to boast to PNMs about gives them the solid foundation for a great rush. I see them stealing some PNMs Chi O and Theta might want.
Alpha Chi Omega - They've had some solid recruitments the past few years. I think they'll shoot for looks this year to balance out and make them more well rounded. They've finally rid themselves of their bottom tier rep.
Delta Gamma - with the scandals behind them, this will be their resurection year.
SAME -
Delta Delta Delta - Kappa Alpha Theta - Pi Beta Phi - Phi Mu (They'll do about the same as last year, which is good for all of them)
WORSE -
Gamma Phi Beta - Alpha Delta Pi - Chi Omega - Kappa Delta - Zeta Tau Omega, Sigma Kappa (Based on scandals, weak 2013 pcs, or competing houses who will out recruit)

AXO, give it up! YOu are NOT "on the rise". it's like, you guys keep repeating that exact phrase. Exactly. The. Same. Phrase. Over and over and over. Wanna know who's really "On the rise"? Phi Mu. Cute, cute, cute PC while still keeping it classy, and did v v well (for them) in GW.

The huge amount of girls coming thru recruitment really don't know who is who or which house is listed as a rank on a site, or where anyone really stands. The fact is good pledge classes usually recruit good or better pledge classes the next year. That's why PiPhi is always consistent and the same with Tri Delt. That's why AXO climbed the past few years - strong pledge classes. Sigma and Phi Mu both did really well this year and had surprisingly cute and strong pledge classes so I agree both will out-recruit SK Zeta KD and maybe a few other houses that became a bit lazy the past couple years - not because where any house is ranked on a website at this moment, but because their actual, current pledge class, their sophomores, and their recruitment chairs will make sure of it. I'm not threatened by either chapter, my sorority will do well and won't compete for the same type of girl but I agree with the OP on most of the post.

SK will suck at recruitment because of all the girls they've lost. I can't wait for numbers to get posted so everyone can see how many girls they lost. The reality is that none of their girls that did recruitment last year are here this year. It'll be like reteaching everyone all over again.

I don't enjoy the fact that they'r failing but I do enjoy that their lies will finally be exposed.
