What do I say to roommate?
by: New GirlI’ve only had one of my top houses not ask me back so far and really loving 3 of the six and not sure how I’ll rank for Pref. My dilemma is my roommate hasn’t had as good a time and only went to 3 houses for sisterhood and she just kinda likes one of them. She seems resentful toward me and passive aggressively kids about my fits. She is gorgeous but sorta mean and I’m not sure why she’s had a tough time. How do I deal if she gets bad news tomorrow?

And it begins with not boasting about who asked you back and broadcasting how badly your roommate is doing. Be there to listen and prop her up. Tell her to follow her gut feelings about the process and that no decision is the wrong one. The big cuts are about to happen. You might be the one who doesn't do well. Don't gloat.

Lots of people will need lifting up tomorrow and Saturday. The person who said be kind is right.

If she gets bad news tomorrow, give her a hug cry with her and tell her you’ll be there for her. Showing support to someone during a tough time is a great way to extend friendship and show you care. You might be surprised how well things could change in your relationship

I’m sorry - my intention wasn’t to gloat. I guess my roommate is trying to make me fell as bad about myself as she feels now. She puts down the houses I like. But I want to lift her up if tomorrow is bad.
