weirdos

I have seen lots of people on this site put down houses because some of the girls are "weird." I know they intend this to be the ultimate insult, but I find it funny. Are these same people saying a house is great because everyone is cookie-cutter pretty? Or because they are typical? Similar? I am in a great house that most people consider top tier and I have to say I chose my sorority because I met so many girls who were distinctively different. At the same party on the same day I spoke with one girl about baseball and her unrequited love for her beloved Cubs, another about contemporary artists and how Chihully is overrated and a third about how difficult the physics AP exam was. Were these girls "weird"? Yeah, probably from some people's point of view. But I embraced their individuality and found myself wishing I could be their "sister." I preffed them, and got my first choice. My second-choice house also was a little weird, but I could have been happy there, too, as long as everyone wasn't cut from the same cloth. You say weird, I say individualist. I am thrilled to have so many sisters who comfortable enough to be their own person, weird or not.
