sigma sigma sigma house?
by: curious pnmim a pnm and looking at the recruitment guide rn… what does it mean by “they do not have a facility in Greek town”? do they not have a house? why????

They are currently experiencing very low numbers and thus were forced to rent their house. Kappa Delta is renting their house for year while the Kappa Deltas renovate their current house.
Although they have lower numbers, keep in mind this offers PNMs an opportunity to build a sorority and become actively involved. Not that you can't do this in other sororities on campus but Tri Sigs, if the right new members get in, could really change their presence on campus.

You can try and sugar coat it, but things are not looking good for tri sigma. If your sorority can no longer afford to maintain its chapterhouse because there aren’t enough girls who will live in house or members then there’s an issue. PNM’s are going to be hesitant to join a chapter where they aren’t going to get a similar experience to other girls. I feel bad for their mc’22 because many of them joined assuming they’d get a chance to live a sorority house and have a place to hang with their sisters for 4 years, and many dropped because that was no longer the case. I wouldn’t doubt it if their nationals removes their charter if they can’t substantially raise their membership back to the point being able to afford maintaining the house by the end of fall semester. A frat is prob just going to eventually buy that house in a couple years
