Axo and agrho are a for sure pairing. They won together in 2009 (first time for each house). They have a lot of history.

If Kappa blows off Delta Chi and Beta Sig, it will be like
giving the middle finger to two of the nicest
chapters on our campus. Plus, this will be ATO's first time ever doing HoCo since their rechartering, which means they won't do well. We all thought SK would do so great last year when it was their first time and instead just tanked.

SK got 8th out of fifteen houses which means they beat seven chapters that have already done HOCO in their first year. If they really "tanked" as hard as you're saying they did then they should've gotten DEAD LAST.
Plus they placed second in skit and did all that paired with FIJI, another house who'd never done HOCO before. So remind me how that's tanking?

Id like to know where you got that information because steerco only shows the top 5 houses in order. No one knows where they placed after 5th place. Nice try, SK

Kappa deserves better than ATO and if they pref them, then they deserve to lose. ATO even considered not doing hoco at all this fall...that doesn't make them a good pairing if they aren't even sure of themselves. Kappa is better than that

The HOCO chair of every house is given that information after the top five get revealed and you get the breakdown of points, not only for your house, but every house in general. It takes basic arithmetic skills to calculate the breakdown of points compared to other houses.
Eighth of fifteen houses, I sat there with our HOCO chair and saw the points myself. And we laughed about it. Because you're right, we shouldn't have known anything or done anything but we did. And if you wanna lie to cover up your houses failure then go for it. We know the truth.

yeah i'm a former hock chair and the breakdown of points is given back out to chapters after the fact. it'll be like-
house decs:
1st: theta
2nd: kappa
3rd: chi-o
banner:
1st: kappa
2nd: theta
3rd: delta
and it just goes down the list from there for every single category from first place to last place. so all you have to do is add all of the points for all of the houses and see how close you were to getting into the top five. my house was only like two points behind fifth place this year, we got sixth of fifteen. but it's pretty easy to figure out the way steerco does things.

ADPi and Delt. Delt sent them a cookie cake after top nine pairings came out that said, "Free next fall?" And have been courting them all semester. GPhi will not get Delt.

I have a friend in Delt, who told me who they sent the cookie cakes to, and sorry SK but I know you didn’t get one. Delt had no interest in pairing with a bottom tier house.

AEPi has said that Tridelt and them are "FOR SURE." However, tridelt also has sig chi again (due to rule changes). Some of the under classmen may push for sig chi due to them being well acquainted with one another. I'm excited to see how pairings match up.
