rush week

Next semester I really want to be able to go through rush week and join a sorority but I'm a minority. Do a lot of sororities not accept minorities? Do I have a chance of receiving a bid?

We have plenty of girls who are minorities rush and as long as you have a competitive GPA and are friendly and outgoing you have a chance in any house here at Mizzou.

It doesn't matter here. I know there are horror stories about race being an issue, especially with the whole scandal at Alabama with the cutting girls because of their race, but we care more about quality. Some houses might seem like they only pledge tall buxom blondes but EVERY house can appreciate a smart, well rounded, funny and sweet PNM regardless of race. You've got nothing to worry about.

Race doesn't matter. Most houses will be happy to get to know you.
