sae pledgeship

im so confused what they mean by banning pledging? can someone explain it to me?? can no one join SAE anymore???

You can still become a member but there is no "pledging". They have to initiate their members right away instead of what fraternities usually do and have a pledge ship before they are initiated. Its to prevent hazing.

Yeah but don't be surprised if you still see the brutal hazing they had prior to nationals abolishing pledgeship. It just won't be talked about as much

That's not even close. They're the only colony in all of SAE right now that has its own house with 60ish guys after being around for only a year. I'd say once they get their charter, things will start moving fast for them
