Sorority Tiers for 2023
by: Sup
Stop resurrecting a post from 2018 (referencing the “correct tiers post”) This do evolve on this campus and yes some things stay the same in 5 years. So let’s just consider this as a new view of the houses based on campus involvement, retention, sisterhood, grades and few other values thrown in. No one will ever 100 agree because we all love our houses and want them to be top. Using scorecards (numbers/grades/philanthropy), recruitment results, Homecoming and greek week results and general quality reputation on campus (not just frats) here are some thoughts. Keep in mind the Top are in alphabetical order but all are very competitive and stand out in different ways. The middle tier has amazing houses and a niche for the variety of girls looking to be Greek. It regularly shifting especially as new pledge classes come in. The lower tier still have amazing girls and a great Greek life to offer. I feel that each have had some challenges for various reasons, but still work to be a presence in the Greek community.
The real value is what YOU get out of your house and where you feel like home and get an amazing experience. So take tiers for what they are: a current snapshot of what house is where at this point in time. Trust me this could be different (especially in the middle by May)
Here we go for 2023 start of Spring (remember this is overall not just looks and social/party aspects)
Top: (alpha order) ADPi, Chi O, Kappa, Pi Phi, Theta
Middle: (this shifts around) Tri Delt, KD, Gphi, Zeta, DG, AXO, Aphi
Low: (still great house ladies) Sigma Kappa, Phi Mu, Tri Sig

I am a sophomore here so if you don't think this is accurate you either 1. don't go here, 2. are older or 3. in a frat that only hangs out with a certain sorority. I will somewhat agree with you on Theta but the top 6 were harder to place. You can switch that up because they all have their strengths and weaknesses. But Kappas ranked higher 🤣 no way, that's hilarious. You do realize that the campus as whole determines ranks, not just greektown.

Ranking sororities doesn't exist anymore. It is pretty much two tiers. Phi Mu, SK and tri sig struggling to fill their house and then the rest. Each house has their good and bad. Kappa and KD are rumored to have the most members as of this semester but I am sure Adeepi, APhi, Zeta, Theta and Pi Phi are all close to the same numbers. Theta, Adeepi, KD and Pi Phi had the top GPAs from the fall. Those are the 8 top houses but DG, ChiO, Beta and Tri Delt are in transition right now but still solid houses. The top, upper mid and lower mid doesn't exist because they move around to much weekly.

Everyone always talks about how Chi O, Theta, and Kappa have “odd legacies” but maybe those odd girls are what makes all of them top houses bc they choose girls who will make their house be better, not look better.
