let's be honest

There are sororities that people are proud to join, and then there are the others. Mizzou has a fine Greek system and probably has more quality houses than most campuses (in no particular order Theta, Kappa, PiPhi, Delta, ADPi, ChiO, AXO, APhi), but until we improve the other houses on this campus there should be no talk of bringing more sororities to Mizzou. Otherwise we will just have a large group of bottom-dwellers that will bring the entire system down.

while this is true, $$$ is all that matters. more sororities = more money. Mizzou would rather have quantity over quality.

The thing is there is ALWAYS going to be top houses and bottom houses. It's like society, there has to be people at the top and people at the bottom.

You can't bring up the bottom houses because SOMEBODY has to be on the bottom.

By your standards sororities would never expand and open new chapters

It should mean something to be in a sorority at Mizzou. If they keep expanding with mediocre houses, and if the current bottom dwellers don't get their act together, it will be as if anyone can pledge a house. The next thing you know the sorority GPA will be as bad as the fraternity gpa and the greek system here will be full of average people. We will no longer be the envy of other greek systems across the country.

I heard rumors of a Delta Zeta coming to campus potentially....I don't think that would be beneficial to anymore. More sororities will end up like Tri Sigma which is drowning.

Beta Sig is a top sorority so I think we are really lucky to have them.
