DG, GPhi, Pi Phi, Theta, SK and Sigma all haze. They'll deny it on here and claim that DG is the only house that's been caught hazing and that it was "years ago" but the truth is that DG is the only house to be CAUGHT hazing. I've had friend pledge all these houses and they've all mentioned some form of hazing to me, whether it be casual peer pressure to drink or full blown line ups and public humiliation.
Avoid these houses at all costs.

sigma does not haze at all. nationals won't even let them do scavenger hunts. it wasn't until this year that nationals even let them hang out with fraternities. nationals holds them back from so much.

actual fu-ck. Whoever is posting above is a LIAR and trying to use really horrible SCARE TACTICS so that girls won't join the houses she listed. I'm sure she will comment back about her "proof" based on her "friends," but there is NO WAY that 5 separate girls, in 5 different sororities, all with 1 friend not in those sororities, got hazed and kept quiet. Or that this chick posting kept quiet until right now when a hazing thread conveniently popped up. There is ZERO truth to her "friend testimonies," these houses would be under serious fire if there were. The only thing she kinda got right was that DG did get in trouble for hazing like 3, 4 years ago? I mean I'm not a super fan of DG, but almost all those girls actually are gone, and it was not physical like this girl makes it sound. It was all alcohol related according to the report. Stop posting lies.

This is all some serious BS! Everyone of these houses would be kicked off by now. DG, AChiO and PiPhi hazed several years ago and got in serious trouble. If you consider getting showered with gifts, taken out to dinner and having older girls in the house help you with your homework, then I guess all houses haze. Shut the F up Geed!

No sorority should haze. Ever. With that being said, DG, Alpha Chi, and Pi Phi were caught hazing in years past. I would like to point out though, that the incidents were all alcohol related. That doesn't excuse any of it, but no girl should go into rush feeling like they will be publicly embarrassed or physically hurt if they pledge a house. I've heard that rumor with all 3 of those houses, and they would hands down not be on campus anymore if it were that severe.

Do you actually believe that or are you just lying out of your ass because your house hazes? I won't name names but there is a very small number of houses that DO actively haze....

My house did not haze me at all. All we got were gifts and love from upperclassmen. Some houses may still haze but not all of them do.

My house does not haze at all. I'm sorry you joined a house with poor sisterhood but don't pretend that you know what everyone does. Saying everyone does it might just be what you need to say to feel better about your poor choice of house

what 'really though" is referring to is how some really small, dumb things are considered hazing now. Asking a girl to drive you anywhere, even just to class from the house, or going to a party and asking her if you can get her a drink, even if she's been drinking and wants to, is considered "hazing" nowadays. Every house, EVERY ONE, is going to be guilty of this type of hazing at some point because it's such a catch all term now. No one is actively hazing anymore, making girls drink or do pledge activities, because we saw a few chapters get in trouble and everyone is playing it safe now.

My cousin is an SK at Mo State and she said their nationals are always on their asses about possible hazing. They can't do blindfolds or scavenger hunts either, or the different color bid day shirts. Sounds like your friend ran in with one nasty girl, not the chapter as a whole.
