Got cut by my favorite house
by: sad but it’s okthis morning i opened my schedule and found out i got cut by my absolute favorite house. i thought i had a really good connection with them and i was so so sad at the beginning. i almost cried and dropped. but i’m glad that i didn’t. i talked to my pi chi and realized that that happens to almost everyone and that everything happens for a reason. i know that so many of you guys are going through this and just try to be logical and go with your gut. even though it’s so hard.

It's very difficult. At this point, and every day going forward, the decision is "do you want a specific house or do you want to be part of the Greek system." There will be room for everyone if they keep an open mind. But if you wanted to just be in specific houses, it's OK if you drop. There is no right answer. You just have to decide if you want to be Greek or not. Remember, everyone wants to be a PiPhi or ChiO or ADPi or Theta or AXO or whatever. But they can only take a finite number of people and they have their choice of whom to take. There are other great sisterhoods that you could be part of. But only you can make the decision going forward: stay with it or opt out.
