Recs for recruitment

Is there any house where a rec is absolutely required? What if you can't find someone from a few of the chapters? What houses will take a letter from a non member? Thanks.

Phi Mu no longer accepts recs at all. ADPi, DG, GPB, KAT, KD, PBP, SSS allow a rec from a third party. Required ADPi, DDD, DG, GPB, KAT, are some AFAIK require but it's up to you to go to the national sites to see for sure. Also, some sororities allow an active from a different chapter to recommend; AXO is one of these.

A letter of recommendation helps at EVERY HOUSE, because it tells so much more about you than the recruitment sign-up form. why wouldn't you get recs? It's not that hard. Get off your a$s and do it.
