marching vs recruitment

I want to rush in August but the week of formal recruitment is also the week of Mizzou's marching band camp. I read that the band girls who are rushing run on a different schedule for rush. Do those girls have a lesser chance of getting a bid? Do many girls do both? Do y'all recommend it? I love marching band but really want to be a part of a sorority and don't want that to hurt my chances.

We gave bids to several girls in Marching Mizzou and PHA helped them work their schedules around recruitment. Though honestly, missing any rounds during recruitment will hurt you.
