sorority costs

by: Greek Girl

Would anyone be willing to address how much their membership dues are for their sorority? I'm a New Member and curious about the costs between sororities.

Thanks!!

Correct me if I'm wrong but my friend said living in-house for Sigma is around nine thousand dollars a year.

generally living in house and including dues is 7,000-10,000 dollars depending on your house. new member fees are typically 1500-3000. Never usually more or less than that.

And If you still have your pamphlet from when you rushed, you should be able to find price points for each house.

My new member fees were 2100 for the entire year. 1200 for new member, 900 for every other semester.

That does not include the coat to live in house, which I think is around the same price as the dorms

About $2400 for regular dues and house maint fees,etc... To live in will run you an additional $4200 or so (in my house)

Living in house includes - dues, housing and meals. So yes, livingin usually costs between 8000-10000. - Figuring 2-3 thousand for dues and 6-7 thousand for room and board (housing and meals) - which is the same as some dorms and less than others.
