on the downward spiral
by: whyZeta and DG have been debated so many times on different threads that have nothing to do with them. Obviously girls in zeta and Dg are finding it hard to admit they are slowly becoming bottom tier, but I'd like to discuss some of the reasons why. Some of us are rather new here, so some girls may not know quite what caused these houses to start declining in popularity. Also, do you think any other houses are moving down in rank too? What about some bottom tier houses that may stand a shot to move up now?

Why don't you try again when you can actually express a cogent thought in an organized way. Was the original poster drunk when she wrote this? I've read it 4 times and I still don't have a clue what she's talking about. "Zeta and DG debated on threads that have nothing to do with them." What the F does that mean?

I come from a long line of Mizzou sorority girls. Mom, aunts, two older sisters, multiple cousins. All ages, too. We were talking about this over the holidays and they were curious about which are the top houses and which are not. They weren't surprised to hear that PiPhi, Delta and ChiO remain at or near the top. They were surprised that Kappa and Theta no longer were. They commented that AXO and APhi were in the middle when they were at Mizzou and that Zeta always struggled a bit, but that all three had been around for a long time and had a rich history on campus. I told them about DG and this is what I thought was interesting. My aunts, who graduated as much as 30 years ago, and my cousins, who graduated 5-10 years ago, all agreed that DG was never a top house, but always a "wannabe" house. They always hovered around 6th to 8th place and always insisted they were better than that, but never got the best girls.

My Grandmother was an AXO and when she was here they were a top house so she was very disappointed that they were middle tier now. But my cousin and Aunt were with Pi Phis here and they said the same thing about DG. The wannabe house. Sometimes got pretty girls but never an actual top house.

to popular belief, to think a thread tearing down certain houses is wrong does not make you a member of said house. I've seen my house ripped a part on here by petty people, why the hell would I want it to happen to anyone else's house? EVERYONE has room for improvement...DG, Zeta, my house, your house (Which I hope to GOD are not the same)...but when someone feels the need to personally attack a sorority, then yeah, AS A PERSON you need to work on yourself.

let me just say that i think the DGs are actually really good looking girls like the stereotypical hot party girls, BUT they are some of the rudest people i have ever met. I have a friend in DG who got yelled at for partying at a bottom tier frat because it "makes DG look bad" .. ya lol

Yes they have. I think Phi Mu will replace Zeta if they can get their grades in order. They're already recruiting cuter girls than they have in the past. Not sure who will replace DG though.
