Fair to say. And to be honest Kap Sig doesn't really care so you might be right, if they stay out of the way then Pi Phi might not be out of the running.

I think that APhi and PhiKapp could be a dark horse. APhi and PhiKapp both placed in Greek Week last year. Also, with Zeta, their pairing with Pike wasn't great last year, but with the addition of AgRho in that group they could make quite a showing

Phi kapp placed last year because they were with Adpi, a really strong house. Adpi had to work overtime because phi kapp wouldn't pull their own weight. Aphi is decent in GW/Hoco but not great - good luck to them getting phi kapp to do much.
Also AgRho and Zeta might work but just seems REALLY incompatible to me.

Just kidding phi kapp was with chi o not adpi for gw. Either way, typically not the greatest house to be paired with if you want to win. I've witnessed it firsthand, and heard it from others who were with them

Sigma Kappa got the best pairing of the bottom tier houses because their pairing will actually work with them. It's the sort of pairing they would've received had things been normal. Sig Pi is good with skit if their HOCO skit with APhi was any indication and Phi Delt is decent in sports, so they might surprise us.
KD will kill in skit. With AEPi and TKE? I'm expecting a lot. I'm a skit girl in my house and when we had TKE for our skit the guys were very on the ball. As for the sports aspect? Not sure, but service and fling will be good for them.
Alpha Phi I'm indifferent about, no real opinion there, don't know enough about their pairing houses.
Zeta got a good pairing but I'm entirely unsure if they'll get along. My friend is in a house that worked with Zeta before and said they were very hard to work with and the liaisons are snippy. Though after their HOCO placing they might be on the upswing, we'll see.
Sigma and Phi Mu? I feel bad for them both. They got houses that didn't want them and those poor girls are going to get neglected and walked all over and nobody deserves to be made feel inferior. Boys can be mean and I pray those boys are nice to the girls.

I think Alpha Phi will do just fine. They're a pretty strong house for GW because they kill at skit. Even thought they aren't too tier, I feel like not many fears would be disappointed to be paired with ten because they try, they're fun, but it's not all about winning.also, agsig probably will work hard because they got kicked out if the pairing with a phi and agrho last year.
KD works hard at everything, which I think will really carry the pairing. KD is normally a good homecoming house, but just decent for GW. I think they'll step it up this year because they got Smgood houses.
Zeta will be hit or miss because they're just not normally a GW contender. AGRho will try so the guys might just be carrying Zeta through GW this year.

Ya know, I'm in a house that's considered to have been "screwed" and I was pretty upset with my pairing at first but then I realized I have no reason to be. Maybe if everyone, regardless of your "tier" got their heads out of their asses and got to know people, the world would be better! Instead of moping around about not getting a pairing I was thrilled about, I'm going to take the opportunity to meet as many people as possible and hopefully come out with some new friendships. Seriously, get over it and look at the big picture. Have fun, meet people, be nice. The end.

I'm in the same situation though I'd say we got less screwed than other top houses. Time to stop feeling sorry for ourselves and prove why we're top. My house didn't get the best pairing but we didn't get the worst. I'm ready to stun people.

Just putting this out there, it would seem the AXO pairing could sweep the entire competition, but let's just check the facts before jumping to conclusions. AXO, FH, and Delt are all powerhouses for HOMECOMING. Delt is also popular for GW, but AXO and FH??? not a chance. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't place top 5, at all.

But remember that skit is also a big portion of the points for Greek Week, which axo is always really good at. I'm not sure how the sports will go for them, though...

Yup. Not placing in skit kills your chances unless you smoke the competition everywhere else.

AXO has the best PAIRING. If this were homecoming I would be terrified of them but let's be real, unless AXO recruited some sporty girls they don't have a shot. As usual, the sporty chicks went to Kappa/Chi-O and those houses will continue to have the sporty chicks. AXO might have a nice skit because they've got Farmhouse but you are all forgetting that this is Greek Week, not homecoming.

i have a lot of friends in adpi and not one of them plays a sport idk if they really have athletic girls anymore so who knows how they'll do

Tridelt is most often referred to as upper tier, but they quite honestly suck in all competitions. Like their skit for homecoming? That was a joke. It was not funny, half of them seemed drunk, and they did not take their acting seriously at all. Even if they end up doing well with sports, I do not see them placing.

This pairing is either referred to as a "power pairing" or a "dark horse," which are complete opposites of each other. Either way, the point is that this will be one of the pairings to try to beat.

Because AXO and Farmhouse aren't GW houses. If this were HOCO then AXO would have a power pairing but AXO doesn't usually do well in GW. However with how bad everyone else's pairings are they might just surprise us.

That is why I left out KapSig. They are irrelevant and hopefully they realize it and will stay out of the other houses way. I was throwing out a pairing that I thought had an outside chance. Are they the favorites? by all means no, but i like them as much as anyone not named AXO
