by: Old School I guessHaving seen things from both sides, I thought the recruitment format this year was a disaster. The biggest selling point of formal recruitment is PNMs being able to see every house and people in every house being able to have a conversation with all who are interested. Sitting in a room is not my idea of a fair way to handle recruitment.

It was change for the sake of change, not change to improve an actual problem. There are women who left their summer jobs early in order to participate in recruitment. What a waste. They could have stayed home and done the same thing. Plus, it just isn't fair to judge exclusively on how someone looks on paper, because that's what it came down to in many cases.
