KD is lower mid. Phi Mu's improved but KD is doing better than them in every single category. I like both houses, but to say Phi Mu went from 2nd worst to almost 4 spots higher in a span of a year isn't realistic (Considering KD has continued improving in almost every single category, while Phi Mu has only done better in competitions and retaining a majority of the girls they got from recruitment this year). I won't take away that Phi Mu has done better recently, but Phi Mu is on the same level as Zeta and SK.

Because one HOCO win doesn't undo years of mediocrity. For every one competition Phi Mu has excelled in, houses like XO, ADPi and Theta have done ten times over. And their grades suck. And they have poor rendition. I could go on but I think you get the picture. It's about consistency. And Phi Mu doesn't have that yet.

Consistency - three overall wins of three large/major all-greek/all-campus competitions in the past two years, and a top 5 placement in Greek Week 2016 - Id say that is pretty "consistent".

Phi Mu is on the rise...like it or not.

She's right about Phi Mu. Three years of okay competition placement doesn't undo the fact that Phi Mu is being bested in several categories by a house that has barely been on campus for five years. Phi Mu cannot claim to be anything other than bottom tier when they continue to compete for girls with SK and Zeta. It's just not realistic.

Phi Mu has improved drastically since they came to campus and nobody is discrediting them. But there are so many houses with a legacy of excellence in grades, competitions, alumni and reputation that Phi Mu just doesn't have. That doesn't mean they'll never get there. But you can't place top five a few times and dethrone a house like Delta or KKG who have been on this campus for decades. It doesn't work like that.

Although thanks for all the downvotes on a post that was speaking the truth. It makes it pretty clear that Phi Mu likes to troll this website more than we thought.

Here's some advice. You are supposed to be the nice girls. Don't go the way of Zeta and start tarnishing your good reputation over internet lies. You're bottom tier. It's not a bad thing; just a fact.

Phi Mu is definitely improving and anybody who says otherwise, isn't paying attention. But they need to continue doing well in competitions and other categories to start moving up the ranks. Before last year's homecoming, the only thing they had going for them was that they were one of the nice girl houses. If they continue improving in competitions, grades (like getting above the all sorority average), retention (which they did pretty well with this year, so keep that up!), etc., they could definitely pass SK and Zeta in the ranks in the next few years.
Phi Mu is still a relatively new house on campus (in comparison to how long houses like Kappa and Pi Phi have been here), so it's not surprising that the house still has a lot of problems. With that being said, though, Phi Mu is definitely not on the same level as Tri Sigma anymore, but they need to continue improving to really move up the ranks!

I think Zeta is still the best of the bottom tier but I agree that Phi Mu has moved up to second best or damn near just as good as Zeta. They used to be interchangeable with Sigma but that's just not the case anymore.

Phi Mu needs another house to slip in order for them to move up. That's how it really works. If KD or Zeta start to flounder I think Phi Mu will be there to take their spot.

Okay DG probably isn't yet bottom tier but ZTA is! And everyone knows ZTA trolls this site, Phi Mu never does because they don't care what people think, they never have, neither does KD for that matter. Over the past 2 years, houses in the bottom tier flopped.
