I figured we should put all the COB comments and questions on this board so we have one central location for all things COB. Here's the lowdown on COBing from what I know/what I have read on this website.
SK, Sigma, Zeta and Phi Mu are COBing for sure. Phi Mu tables in the student center, you can get info there.
You can get into contact with SK for COBing by emailing skmucmc@gmail.com, their CMC is named Molly.
AXO, APhi, DG, and ADPi are rumored to be COBing but not that many girls.
The higher your GPA, the better your chances but if you have below a 3.0 then you might wanna consider raising it and rushing in the Fall.
COB starts the moment we get back through February so be sure to start emailing houses/talking to girls you know if houses you're interested in right now.
If anybody else knows anything or if any PNMs have questions then I vote we keep them on this board. So people don't have to keep fishing for answers.

DG usually COBs really quietly. Your best shot is getting a girl in the house to put your name forward

What if you really don't know anyone in the house tho? Are you basically out of luck?

Well if you don't know anyone you can try emailing them but there's really no guarantee. It kind of sucks yeah, but that's how most houses narrow their COB pool down.

I don't know about ZTA, but Alpha Phi doesn't tend to open COB. They'll hang out with a girl and then invite her to come to the other COB stuff. It's MUCH easier to get in as a COB if you know several girls or if you're friends with them. Reach out to them and they should respond or mention it to the girls you know and they'll happily recommend you.

My friend gave my info to the recruitment chair to one of the houses that will probably only take a few people. She emailed me and asked for my MU gpa and campus involvement. My gpa is like a 3.1 but i have decent campus involvement i think. Do I still have good chances even though my gpa is lower.?

Did your friend email you? or the recruitment chair? 3.1 is okay. As long as you have a bubbly personality and good involvement you still have a chance.

axo. I emailed them a lot first semester and they said they would let me know when they're COBing but didn't get an email about COB when everyone else did so I emailed the vp of recruitment and she asked for a resume but I haven't heard anything since

From APhi I emailed them last semester and then emailed again and they said they wold contact me soon.
from AXO I had a friend recommend me and then the vp asked for my campus involvement and gpa. i didn't hear back but my friend said they haven't emailed again yet

It's still break so don't sweat not getting emails yet. The chairs are probably busy and organizing/finalizing things so I'm assuming houses will be in contact/reply once we get back :)
