gpa for cob

by: ???

I'm a freshman and want to COB this semester but am worried. Is a little over a 3.0 really bad for a first semester freshman? I know I can do a lot better but am worried girls will look at this and dismiss me right away. Thanks for any feedback

I am in the exact same boat with a gpa of 3.118 but still wanting to COB. Anyone know how sororities will look at this?

Just COB and if you don't get in, bring up your grades and rush in the fall

Just over a 3.0 is not great but it's really not bad. All-sorority GPA is somethink like a 3.2 or 3.3? I forget. Anyway almost everyone struggles their first semester. It's expected. As long as you can show that you're excited to get involved on campus and sincerely want to do well in school you should be fine

I'm a Phi Mu and I'd rather have our money spent with a lower tier frat who will actually try rather than with a top tier frat that won't help is. I know we're not gonna win regardless if our pairing but I don't want my time and money wasted. I'd rather do the best we can with a frat who likes us.

The only houses that might benefit are houses like almost make top five but can never quite outdo the houses that dominate GW. Bottom tier and top tier houses are both screwed :/

I am in a house that is about to begin the COB process this spring. That gpa is not wonderful but it is above many chapters goal.my suggestion is to COB! Grades are certainly important but you can get those up this semester! Go ahead and try to get in a house, personalities and activities are just as important as grades are. Good luck!
